First Images on set of The Dark Knight Rises

Well, well, well. What do we have here? Looks like the first few pictures have been snapped on the set of the final Christopher Nolan Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises. Not much info has been released about the film, but it does look like Tom Hardy will be playing Gotham's newest villain, Bane.

As you can tell from the photos and video below, there is ass-kickery abound in Gotham. Even during the day, and in public.
