Bernie Madoff's Pants Turned into iPad Cases

Wednesday, August 10, 2011

Got an iPad? Need a cover? How about a piece of memorabilia from the master fraud who ran an estimated $65 billion scheme? Then this just might be for you... If you have a paltry $500 lying around that you have no other use for.

Clothing design company Frederick James is offering limited edition iPad covers made from the pants of the felon. Frederick James acquired some of his threads from an auction held by the US Marshals Service. If you act quickly, you can snap up one or two cases made from a pair of J. Crew pants, (size 34 by 30, if you must know).

This is all well and good, but if you wait until the end of Madoff's 150 year sentence you will probably be able to find cases for your new iPad 89 made from his prison getup. Personally, I think I'll pass...
